History of our company
The history of our company goes back to the time when Munich was still a provincial town and when motorized cars were not an everyday commodity. Most taxis were drawn by horses and only a handful of pioneers bet on the new, revolutionary means of transportation which arose with the advent of the automobile. In this era lies the point of origin of the taxi company Fink.
One of our ancestors bought a motorized cab and started transporting passengers throughout Munich. Even though there was no airport in this period, the transfer of business people, merchants and craftspersons was established as the backbone of the newly founded company. The fast and reliable transportation by automobile soon became a highly demanded service among the business people of Munich.
It took until 1962 to continue the tradition in postwar Munich. A descendant of the original company founder bought a taxi concession and became a taxi entrepreneur in Munich. In the following years, this entrepreneur - named Norbert Fink - established the taxi company on a solid base and soon expanded.
In 1986 the present day owner Axel-Rene Fink inherited the responsibility for the company and since then leads it together with his wife. Also in this generation the tradition remains held in high regards. Classical values of family-owned businesses like fair dealing with employees and customers, solidarity and modesty are well and alive at Businesstaxi-Munich. We are proud to still function well as a family enterprise.
Our tradition is also our duty. For our customers we combine its best elements with the possibilities of today and the chances of tomorrow.
